Amarantine is the first new album from Enya in five years. Her last album, A Day Without Rain, was her best selling album ever. Her newest album Amarantine begins with the track ‘Less Than A Pearl’ and is what most Enya fans would expect from one of her opening songs. There does not seem to be much new in this release but I expect that Enya fans will enjoy most of the album because it does not depart from what they have come to expect from her.

Personally, I enjoyed the title track ‘Amaratine’ and ‘Its in the Rain’ the most but I am still pondering the foreign language (?) used on some of the tracks.
