iPhone release date set for June 29th

Apple has set June 29th as the official release date of the new iPhone. The first shipments of the iPhone will carry a price tag of between $500 and $600. The new iPhone is being marketed as a Cell Phone / MP3 player / Video Player / PDA hybrid.

iTunes and American Idol to help the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund

A few weeks ago, American Idol aired shows on two nights to help fight poverty in the Africa and the United States. The first night donations were made with each vote casted for the contestants. On the second night celebrity singers and bands including Annie Lennox, Earth Wind & Fire, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, and Il Divo performed.

The content from the shows is now available on iTunes and all proceeds go to the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund.
